UKIP: Jon Ison continues his destruction in the West Midlands

A West Midlands regional membership spread sheet, showing the variations in membership numbers by month shown to the Junius team reveal that its Solihull and Meriden Branch chairman John Ison has set a new party record in losing his association a staggering 16 members since April 2012, that’s nearly a 30% decrease in just 4 months!

Ison has resided over the collapse of the (until recently) largest branch in the West Midlands! Before he took over the branch was thriving had 100+ members, BUT is now down to a pitiful 45 members. (So a near loss of 65 members over his entire chairmanship of just over 12 months!)

In the same period all branch activity as stopped, before ISON took over the branch it had 17 candidates in place for the 2010 local elections. This year he didn’t put up a single candidate!

Proof that more and more people are distancing themselves from this vindictive and largely untrustworthy individual !

Mr Ison now appears to ruling his sinking ship with an iron fist to hold some level of position within UKIP. Aware of his own local unpopularity Ison has refused on hold an AGM for the branch fearing that a vote of no confidence will be issued and passed against him!

Constitutionally this is not allowed though how much longer will UKIP let it continue???????? Will the West Midlands RO step in a either to dissolve the branch or demand an EGM to hold the yearly elections as per party rules ?

Hi,

isn't Gordon Parkin having the same result in his region for much the same reasons? Also I do gather that other than their own personal interests Peter Reeve & Lisa Duffy are having a near catastrophic effect in their region and with UKIP Yoof!

 

Then of course we note the catastrophic behaviour of Derek Clark who has not only abused his office and the trust of the electorate but lied to his committee, his members and his electorate and been aided by his hugely over salaried staff Ron Ransome The Regional Organiser and his wife in their region.

The abysmal results and general embarrassment of the results in London are irrefutable and as London MEP Gerard Batten has shown the public clearly reject his racist views and incitement to race hate as he works with extremist groups and criminals to promote his personal values (or transparent lack of!).

That the party chairman was sat upon to carry the can and pretended to resign speaks volumes - that even this turned out to be a dishonest move and he is still publishing idiotic newsletters as Party Chairman is plain for all to see. Clearly no one of gravitas, competence or integrity sat on that particular 'Chair' with any plausible effect!

Clearly the party lacks any credible leadership or understanding of duty, integrity, morality or responsibility - Farage is on record stating UK elections dont matter! Well no, not to him as his pockets are stuffed with the bribes of The EU!

 

UKIP couldn't care less about honesty, probity, democracy or basic common decency it is clear.

The party makes huge claims of leaps forward and expectations of glory yet in reality they never seem to reflect in the ballot box.

There may well be more members than at their all time low, not so long ago, when estimates had them at 8>10,000 members based upon their turnout to vote and track record in internal elections.

That they have grown is hardly worthy of dispute as one need only look at the caliber of those who they put forward in leadership and the only means of defending themselves would seem not to be results or even sound argument but desperate efforts to denigrate and defame those supporters who dare to have a view contrary to their self interests on the gravy train.

Yes to be fair UKIP has gained a Town councillor in Lydney and describe his result to be based on 'a strong turnout' OK let us judge UKIP by their claims:

Alan Preest was elected.

Alan Preest would seem to have had to quit as a Tory County Councillor.

Alan Preest was seemingly forced to resign from The Tory Party.

Alan Preest is a common thief who has been unable to clear his name!

The actual 'strong turnout' was in fact only 22%

Thus, yes Alan Preest won but on a vote of indifference with only 16% of the electorate in his sector of this little town even bothering to vote!

Is linking their name with low lifes and liars, thieves and dissemblers, liars and cheats really the way forward for UKIP?

One need only consider those in positions of leadership and responsibility to know the party is of no consequence and going nowhere in its present state.

I am surprised ANYONE would want UKIP in its present form as their candidate, at a time when the majority of the population would support a party seeking to Leave-The-EU IKIP is still bumping along the bottom & of no relevance due to its behaviour.

I am a dedicated UKIP supporter but will ONLY vote for it when it is cleaned up and fit for purpose - which as Junius regularly shows, it is not!

Hi,

although these facts about John Ison have been a matter of record and alluded to previously on this blog we note that for all UKIP's proscribing of many decent individuals they have always had a propensity to promote those they have control over by holdng facts over their heads.

Let us not forget Nigel Farage's personal sewer rat who trolled amongst his associates in the extremist and fascist branches of politics he frequented with his distortions and lies on Farage's behalf in fact in Farage's pay, building dossiers that could be used to control and manipulate people.

UKIP have used this useful idiot John Ison to lie and defame one of UKIP's longest serving and clearly most dedicated supporters Nikki Sinclaire who Nigel Farage has always feared and tried to undermine.


It has been Nigel Farage's poorly hidden hand in many attacks mounted upon Nikkie Sinclaire that has cost UKIP dear in the courts and shown them for the bullying, cyber stalkers, cowards and anti homosexual small minded self serving bigots they all too often are.


John Ison as you will have noted is all too typical of the unreliable low lifes that serve the purposes of UKIP leadership and are gullible enough to be duped into their dishonest behaviour not out of malice but in greed all too often.

That there was agressive abuse in the relationship seems in little doubt and that his wife left him for another woman having shown in Court he was an unfit parent is on record and may explain his vindictive and largely untrustworthy behaviour in stealing material from Nikki Sinclaire, an openly stated homosexual - Is this just an attack on a Lesbian by a sad individual deeply challenged by his own inditerminate sexuality and/or a hatred of female homosexuals!

UKIP: John Ison was once accused of trying to strangle his wife

John Ison: The man behind the allegations against Nikki Sinclaire - all with a little help from Nigel Farage

There has been much discussion on various forums and within UKIP's leadership cabal recently, about the antics of John Ison. Particularly, his appearance in court in August 2003 to answer charges of assaulting his wife.

In fact, a look at the court records reveals that he was actually accused of trying to strangle his wife.

Although cleared due to "lack of corroborative evidence" Ison admitted striking his wife on the nose. She also suffered a bruised right leg and right arm and was signed off work by her doctor.

In his defence, Ison claimed that he was actually the victim himself, and that his wife tried to strike him first.

In fact, there may be a hint of truth in this, as we can reveal that Ison was an abused husband. In 2002 he was the victim of an assault by his wife, being punched in the face as he was driving his car. A solicitor's letter to this effect was produced during his 2003 court case.

The fact, however, that Ison was banned by court order from going near his own children hints at a sad domestic situation in which violence was all to common.

It is said that all political careers end in failure. With the disclosure of Ison's past, it would appear that his has ended before it got off the ground!

Hi,

it is interesting to note the obvious disgust at John Ison's behaviour and revulsion at the unprofessional behaviour of UKIP leadership in their anti homosexual and vindictive treatment of Nikki Sinclaire, on a UKIP controlled Forum!

It is all but impossible for UKIP to claim it is not anti homosexual and now especially with the addition of the supporter of Tom Wise!

Roger Helmer defedtee from the Tories because he could not get his own way when he stepped down as an MEP, he who set out to try to have the deffinition of where his house was, in order to try to claim even more expenses as an MEP!

Roger Helmer recently stated his opinion that homosexuality was a treatable mental illness - surely the world left that view behind in the 1960s, when we campaigned for the decriminalisation of homosexual acts between consenting adults. I should imagine The Tories are glad to see the back of this idiotic man with his arcane views and his plastic EUroScepticism as he milks the system for all it is worth TO HIM!

   In January 2010, UKIP's NEC unwisely allowed itself to be dragged into what was basically a personal spat between two MEPs, Sinclaire and Farage.

   Instead of which, the chairman of the NEC foolishly issued a statement Statement from UKIP chairman - UK Independence Party on behalf of the committee, announcing that Sinclaire would not be permitted to stand for UKIP at future elections on the grounds of her having left the EP group, and having "failed to declare other relevant issues to the interview panel when she was selected as a UKIP candidate" (which she denied). If Sinclaire chose to challenge this legally, as past experience suggested she might, any breach of normal disciplinary procedure or evidence of her having been treated less favourably than others in similar situations, would obviously disadvantage UKIP hugely.
   
   Within a matter of months, first Mike Nattrass then Trevor Colman followed her out of the EFD, yet no action was taken against them by the NEC and, unlike Sinclaire, both are still accepted as UKIP MEPs and listed as such on the party website.
   
   Now we see that the article linked by Alex McKee at #9 raises the possibility that the second of the accusations levelled at Sinclaire - that of failing to declare relevant issues to a candidate selection panel - may also have applied to John Ison.
   
   Ison stood as UKIP candidate in Redditch in 2005 and Solihull in 2010, being bound by the party constitution on both occasions to make "a written application and shall make full disclosure of any fact, political or personal, that may have a bearing on their suitability for selection as a candidate". In 2010 the application form stated: "I am not aware of any circumstances from my past that might cause embarrassment to the party were it to be revealed".
   
   Did Ison fail to declare that he had been banned by court order from seeing his children, and lie by signing the form anyway? If so, now that the story is known through circulation on the internet, the NEC will be guilty of victimizing Nikki Sinclaire if it doesn't ban Ison from standing in all future elections just as it has banned her.
   
   If he did declare it and was allowed to stand despite this, the party and all its future candidates will be at risk from resulting bad publicity, but why would a party that goes to the length of demanding CRB checks on its candidates precisely in order to screen out potential problems, regard a court order protecting five-year-olds from their own father as not having a bearing on his suitability as a candidate?

   I've no idea what Ison has or has not declared but he was pre-UKIP a notable public campaigner for fathers rights. How have you come to the apparent conclusion that his own circumstances were not already in the public domain?

   I haven't come to any conclusion on the matter and that is not the point. UKIP's constitution does not put responsibility onto candidate selection panels for acquainting themselves with applicants' personal circumstances from what is in the public domain. It states categorically that candidates shall make full disclosure.
   
   If John Ison did not do so then natural justice demands that he should be treated the same as Nikki Sinclaire in what the NEC claims was a similar circumstance (failure to disclose, which she denies), and banned as she was from standing in future elections. Not to ban Ison would be a second example of Sinclaire being treated more harshly than others, the first being that action was taken against her for leaving the EFD but not against Nattrass and Colman.

You may be interested to note YET AGAIN that the false accusation of failure to disclose made against Nikki Sinclaire was an unprofessional pack of lies from UKIP Leadership and pure discrimination.

Nikki Sinclaire was madse technically bankrupt (ie based on the claim of one man who served p0apers at an address at which she clearly did not live as she washelping UKIP set up their head office in Birmingham!).

The details were IMMEDIATELY reported by Nikki Sinclaire to The Returning Officer in the election, in which she stood. She also informed Michael Zucherman The UKIP Part Secretary at the time.

I also published the full details at the time as they were a matter of public record, as is the fact that John Ison was not found guilty in a Court Case of assault on his wife who left him for another woman but WAS deemed unfit to have access to his children, presumably his volatile temper or underhand behaviour were deemed a risk to children.


As to bankruptcy being ostensibly a cause of the UKIP Leadership's unprofessional and partisan behaviour the Guilty Judgement against Nigel Farage, Godfrey Bloom and UKIP inCourt would seem to indicate otherwise as would the official caution from the EU Parliament aganst Godfrey Bloom for his anti homosexual bullying.


It is interesting to note that John Ison's vindictive and malicious behaviour against Nikki Sinclaire and his various thefts and seeming 'construction' of so called evidence, in collusion with others (including the proven corrupt Christopher Gill see: CLICK HERE) may all be a vindictive attack based on John Ison's seemingly very 'challenged' sexuality and unhappy marriage!


Nikki Sinclaire's treatment at the hands of UKIP's partyisan and unprofessional leadership can not be on the grounds of her historic bankruptcy reported at the time, despite the clamourings of Nigel Farage's sewer rat Mark Croucher who we KNOW colluded in what seems clearly to be efforts to set Nikki Sinclaire up to curry favour with Nigel Farage!


I say it can not be based on the irrefutable fact that Niel Hamilton the formerly disgraced Tory MP was courted by Farage and joined UKIP some 5 years ago and is now, we understand, promised a leading seat as a contender for election to public office once more and as is also a matter of record he was bankrupt and was recently boasting of it on national TV.


Perhaps Niall Warry was correct that in the corrupt world of UKIP:

PROTEST DAD STOOD TRIAL FOR ASSAULT; Fathers4Justice MP hopeful cleared of attacking wife.

A MIDLAND dad standing as an election candidate for the controversial Fathers4Justice group was once charged with attacking his wife, the Sunday Mercury can reveal.

John Ison yesterday announced that he would be one of 200 campaigners fighting a parliamentary seat at the next election.

But we can disclose that the dad-of-two once stood trial after being accused of grabbing his then wife, Caroline, by the throat during a heated row.

Mr Ison, who is a school governor, appeared at Redditch Magistrates Court last August after being charged with common assault by cops but was cleared after a trial.

Mr Ison's political ambitions were unveiled yesterday when he announced that he would try to topple current Redditch Labour MP Jacqui Smith at the next general election.

He is the Birmingham and West Midlands co-ordinator for Fathers4Justice.

Mr Ison, 35, said: 'Not seeing my children breaks my heart. I see kids and their dads in the park and I get very, very upset.

'I am a loving father and I have been excluded completely from the lives of the people I love the most.

'Ever since contact with my childrenwas stopped I have been on a downward spiral.'

Mr Ison, a governor at Coughton Church of England Primary School at Kings Coughton, near Redditch, is separated from his wife of six years - and yesterday he received formal notification of his divorce.

He is banned by a court order from seeing his twin boys.

Last night, Mrs Ison said at her home at Callow Hill, near Redditch: 'I do not want to make any comment really.

'But a judge has banned him from seeing his own children. Read into that what you will.'

The revelation about Mr Ison's court appearance is the latest blow to the credibility of Fathers4Justice, whose members claim they are heartbroken dads whose children are being kept from them by cruel ex-wives. The partner of Jason Hatch - who created a national security scare after scaling the walls of Buckingham Palace dressed as Batman last Monday - has disclosed that she left him because he spent too little time with their daughter.

Gemma Polson, 27, walked out on Hatch with their seven month-old daughter, Amelia, citing his obsession with Fathers4Justice stunts.

She claimed that Hatch's public enthusiasm about improved child access for divorced and separated fathers did not extend to spending time with his own child.

'Fathers4Justice has taken over his life,' said Miss Polson, of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. 'He has seen hardly anything of our daughter which was a bit rich whenthe point of his campaign was to allow dads to see more of their children.

'I would rather he saw more of Amelia than he does.'

Could the reason that John Ison was denied access to his children be that he accepted this in order to ensure his ex wife and her new girlfriend did not persue charges against him for his violence?

Might The Court have accepted a plea that leads one to believe he is unfit to have dealings with children including his own.

Briefly studying the antics of John Ison it does seem he is singularly bereft of a moral compass!

You will note that in pursuit of his personal ambitions it was believed that he had quite seriously damaged the credibility of Fathers4Justice.

One wonders if he told Fathers4Justice the details of the case against him just as one wonders how much of the truth he has told UKIP in his pursuit of his ambitions to be an MEP!

I wonder if UKIP are aware of his liberal attitude to other people's money let alone the background to his assault trial and the denial of access to his children!

Similarly in pursuit of his own ambitions, as he hops from one to another, might the damage he does be compulsive? 

From his classic 'Rugger B*gger attitude to homosexuality might it be reasonable to suggest he may well be a suppressed homosexual and his behaviour towards one individual (well known in UKIP's assemblage) both in terms of courtship and bullying may help understand his vindictive abuse of the openly homosexual Nikki Sinclaire.

Nikki Sinclaire sees no cudos or stigma in her homosexuality but perhaps John Ison does and might it be that he covers up for his 'peccadilloes' by seeking to expose or attack others for theirs? 

We do know that the Sinclaire case is not the only example of breech of trust on his CV as do we know his theft to have run to being on an industrial scale with his determination to advance his personal standing by fitting-up Nikki Sinclaire with the numerous items and material h stole from her.

Was the attempt to mislead West Midlands Police just another item of hate manifestation that amounted to fantasy, as with so much in this unreliable and seemingly abusive little man.

Since John Ison parted company with Nikki Sinclaire after a period in her employ in March one is forced to wonder when he stole material from her offices. Further was it an act of vengeance for his inability to continue in her employ or classic homosexual smoke screen (Rugger B*gger syndrome).

Similarly I consider it apposite to wonder who held the so called evidence he was trying to build a case out of from when he stole it until when he c ontrived to try and make a case of it by seemingly duping the police!

It seems to me that John Ison whould have reported any crime he knew of when he first knew of it and immediately handed over such evidence as he had to the police but it seems there was a prolongued period when the so called evidence was being suppressed by UKIP (most probably the proven corrupt Christopher Gill ex Tory MP).

It must also be somewhat embarrassing that of the allegations of which I know from hearsay much was under the tutellage of UKIP's Robin Collett as accountant as her accounts were answerable to the party leader however he may have fiddled his!

We note that in order to best serve the electorate Sinclaire has openly stated she would rather have as many reasonably paid staff as she could afford on the budget - meanwhile Nigel Farage was paying his wife almost twice the salary Sinclaire paid her junior staff whilst Kirsten Farage was paid more than Sinclaire's better paid staff and they worked where as no one knows of ANY work done for UKIP for her £30K a year.

I wonder whether Robin Collett & Nigel Farage will have their collars felt over this issue!

John Ison does seem to be laying himself wide open to being subject of a private prosecution when the truth comes out and even perhaps a police prosecution to answer for his actions!
